Survey: If you skied the 2012 Bear Chase, please fill out our survey.

The Great Bear Chase is a great cross country ski event in a land of great amounts of snow. With great trails and great conditions at race start in 2012, race times were very good. Racers enjoyed pasty lunch, prizes and some time to talk over the day.

For 2012 two new races were added - a 14K race and 50K classic race. All five events started in a new stadium area and used all the varied trails at Swedetown including the most challenging hills. Top time for 50K freestyle was 2:11 this year.

All proceeds from the 2012 Great Bear Chase go to the Copper Island Cross Country Ski Club groomer fund (to help pay for the new groomer and groomer building).
